Nidan to Sandan                 3 yrs. Or 312 hrs. of Training after the rank of Nidan

Sandan to Yondan              4 yrs. of Training after the rank of Sandan

Yondan to Godan                5 yrs.  of Training after the rank of Yondan

Godan to Rokudan             6 yrs. after the rank of Godan

Rokudan to Shichidan       7 yrs. after the rank of Rokudan

Shichidan to Hachidan      8 yrs. after the rank of Shichidan

Hachidan to Kyudan          9 yrs. after the rank of  Hachidan

Kyudan to Judan                 10 yrs. After the rank of Kyudan
