About the Instructors
Sensei Barry Bandy
Sensei Bandy is the founder and president of the Heion Shin Budo Ryu (system) and also holds Black Belts in Karate, Judo, Senido and Aiki Jujitsu, and has been studying in the martial arts since 1976.
Sensei Bandy is a lifetime member of the USMA, a member of the IBBA (International Black Belt Association), and the Kokusai Shinshin Bugei Renmei. Sensei Bandy also serves on the Board of Directors of the Seishin Do Karate Seishoku - Kai.
In 2004, Sensei Bandy was inducted into the KFCI (Karate for Christ International) Hall of Honor.
